Project Overview
The original 500 kW AD plant in Kent was developed by our team, and constructed on a partners farm. This plant was originally solely supplying electricity to the grid. The plant has now been more than doubled in size to 1.2mW and gas upgrading equipment was installed.
Outcomes
The plant now supplies gas directly to the gas network as well as electricity to the grid. The feedstock for the site include maize, grass silage, fruit & vegetable waste, and animal manure.
